New Eligibility Requirement for 2007 Year-End Awards
Putting on an OFQHA shows require a lot of work! Usually it’s the same members that volunteer their help at each show. Often they don’t even have time to show their own horses because they are busy working. The new rule indicates that beginning in 2007 a member will need to volunteer 4 hours of their time to work at one of the OFQHA shows, clinics, etc., in order to be eligible to receive any year-end awards. There are a lot of jobs available, some strenuous, some not. Please remember the reasoning behind this requirement is to give everyone the opportunity to show and have fun!
Meetings
Attention!: At the April meeting is was agreed upon that ALL monthly meetings (Summer meetings are held on Saturdays at the Guernsey County Fairgrounds after the clinics or shows) will start at 4:00 pm. There will no longer be a separate Directors meeting and a separate general membership meeting. The Directors will hold separate meetings if and when any sensitive matters arise.All meetings will be held at the Perry Township Fire House unless otherwise noted below.

Directions to Perry Township Fire House
Take I-70 to exit 160 (Airport Rd/Sonora Rd), it is east of Zanesville. When you get off at the exit turn north (towards Love's Truck Stop), continue to the top of the hill, and turn right onto Boggs Rd, the fire house is immediately on your left.
